Executive Summary


The Automaton and Data Analyst will work with intelligent automation and data management teams within Consumer & Community Banking Finance. You will build and maintain automation solutions using the firm's intelligent automation (IA) toolset and supporting core data platforms (Databricks, Data Ownership Access Management). This is an execution-focused position for professionals with 3+ years of experience who can deliver across both disciplines in a fast-paced transformation setting, offering significant exposure to cutting-edge automation and data initiatives that shape the future of Consumer & Community Banking Finance.  
 

Role Overview
As an early-career professional in CCB's transformation team, you contribute hands-on across automation development and data operations. You execute across the full solution lifecyclediscovery through implementationhelping Finance teams reduce manual effort through governed automation while strengthening underlying data foundations.
 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build automation solutions using UiPath, Python, Alteryx, ServiceNow, and AI toolsets, delivering outcomes aligned to firm IA policies and change management standards.  
  • Automate last-mile processes to reduce manual errors and improve efficiency.  
  • Monitor production execution of automation tools and prepare recurring analytics and insights.  
  • Review solutions built by Citizen Developers to ensure they meet development, governance, and IS control standards, and maintain clear documentation so business owners can operate solutions post-implementation.  
  • Work with Automation/Databricks/Data Ownership/Access teams to publish reliable datasets, document metadata (inflows, outflows, lineage, and dependencies), and Databricks structures for financial reporting.  
  • Monitor data quality (accuracy, completeness, timeliness), support data governance and compliance (including data protection and retention), and collaborate with Finance and Reporting stakeholders to evolve platform configurations.  
  • Support CCB Finance Action Plan initiatives such as Data Analytics and Governance Dashboards.  
  • Provide backup support for Access Management tasks.
     

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 3+ years of experience across automation, data management, or related technology delivery  
- Experience and knowledge of IS toolsets like UiPath, Python, and Alteryx, and familiarity with Databricks  
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management  
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  
- Clear communication skills with both technical and business audiences  
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively  
 

This role is based in Bengaluru, with an evening shift (2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST). The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.
