As an Agility Lead in JP Morgan Chase as part of the Card Services Team which is aligned to Consumer & Community Banking, you will play a significant role as a champion for the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile practices within our teams. Leveraging your deep knowledge of product development methodologies and Agile principles, use your expert guidance, mentorship, and support to teams to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance. As a recognized subject matter expert, put your knowledge to use to work on complex issues, exercise considerable judgment, and make impactful decisions that shape the operational and business direction of your sub-function. Your leadership, communication, and coaching skills will be instrumental in empowering teams to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently and effectively, while continuously adapting to changing requirements and priorities.

Job responsibilities

  • Drive team planning and enable productive, efficient ways of working
  • Guide and support development teams in adopting agile practices to achieve organizational goals
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence across teams
  • Track and manage team-level dependencies to ensure focused delivery
  • Prepare and present end-of-sprint demo materials for product leaders
  • Capture and drive team improvement actions to promote speed, efficiency, and collaboration
  • Facilitate key scrum cadences and quarterly planning activities to enhance team performance

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in coaching teams on agile methodologies and project management
  • Experience managing and developing individual contributors
  • Advanced knowledge of product development lifecycle stages, methodologies, and best practices
  • Expertise in agile delivery and multiple agile approaches, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Ability to guide teams through complex projects, emphasizing iterative progress and adaptability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills focused on team collaboration
  • Display advanced knowledge of monitoring agility metrics and driving continuous improvement

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification in Agile coaching
  • Familiarity with business acumen, change management, and continuous improvement
  • Experience with internal stakeholder management and strategic thinking
  • Adaptability and decision-making skills in dynamic environments
