Primary responsibilities include supporting senior colleagues in progressing projects from inception to completion, conducting baseline research for site appraisals, making enquiries to local planning authorities, preparing planning appraisals, undertaking independent planning policy research, conducting site visits, providing data analysis, preparing and submitting planning applications, and engaging with diverse stakeholders involved in the planning process.
Required experience includes being a recently qualified or soon-to-be chartered town planner, membership or working towards membership in the Royal Town Planning Institute, demonstrating relevant town planning experience, possessing a strong understanding of the town planning system, and having excellent analytical and writing skills. Candidates should have strong planning and organizational skills, time management abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
