Full Job Description
IMC is expanding its Power & Gas trading business in Aarhus, Europe’s hub for energy markets. We are building a dynamic, technology-driven trading team combining IMC’s 30 years of global trading experience with a local, entrepreneurial setup. As a Trading Graduate, you will be part of a high-energy environment where analytical thinking meets real-time decision-making. You’ll receive structured training, mentorship, and direct exposure to live market trading.
Your Core Responsibilities
- Learn and apply trading fundamentals across European power and gas markets
- Analyse real-time market data to support trading decisions
- Contribute to strategy development by combining quantitative insights with market intuition
- Participate in rotation across Power and Gas desks
- Work closely with Traders, Quants, and Developers to test new tools and trading logic
- Take ownership of projects improving market data analytics and trading performance
Your Skills and Experience
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, or Finance
- Strong numerical reasoning and problem-solving ability
- Curious, competitive, and comfortable working under pressure
- Excellent communicator with a growth mindset and team-first attitude
- Eligible to work in Europe and available full-time in Aarhus
