Role Overview
We are seeking a Transfer Pricing Manager to partner closely with the Transfer Pricing Senior Manager in delivering the Groups global transfer pricing strategy.
This is a first-time hire for the function and presents a unique opportunity to shape and embed a scalable, best-in-class transfer pricing framework across a complex, multinational organisation. The role will be instrumental in ensuring robust compliance, enhancing operational transfer pricing processes, and supporting strategic advisory initiatives aligned to business growth. This position would suit either:
An experienced Assistant Manager / new Manager looking to step up into a broader, more strategic remit, or
An established Manager seeking to consolidate their experience in a dynamic, in-house financial services environment
We welcome applications from both practice and industry, although financial services experience is strongly preferred.
Role Responsibilities
Support the refresh and enhancement of the global transfer pricing framework, including functional analysis, documentation strategy, and operational processes
Lead the end-to-end preparation of Master File and Local File documentation in line with OECD BEPS Action 13 and local country requirements
Provide transfer pricing input into Finance-led initiatives, including the review of intercompany balances and revenue booking models
Partner closely with Finance to ensure transfer pricing policies are appropriately implemented, monitored, and embedded in BAU processes
Deliver practical, commercially focused transfer pricing advice on new business initiatives and contribute to the Groups Change Management Framework
Support the identification, management, and reporting of transfer pricing risks, including inputs into tax provisioning where required
Collaborate with broader Tax and Finance teams on cross-functional initiatives, including R&D tax credits and other strategic projects
Contribute to building internal capability, governance, and controls within the transfer pricing function
Experience & Competencies
Essential
Significant transfer pricing experience within large, multinational groups (practice or in-house)
Demonstrated understanding of the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and practical application across jurisdictions
Proven experience in drafting functional analyses and transfer pricing documentation (Master File / Local Files)
Experience using benchmarking databases (e.g., RoyaltyStat, Amadeus, Bloomberg, etc.)
Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly guidance
Comfortable working in an environment of change and ambiguity, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence Finance, business, and senior leadership
Desired
Experience within financial services, capital markets, or regulated environments, with an understanding of related value chains and revenue models
Prior exposure to in-house transfer pricing operations, including policy implementation, governance, and stakeholder engagement
Experience supporting or leading transfer pricing audits, enquiries, or dispute management with tax authorities
Involvement in designing or improving operational transfer pricing processes, including intercompany charging mechanisms and controls
Familiarity with tax reporting and provisioning requirements (e.g., assisting with FIN48 / IAS 12 considerations)
Experience working on change/transformation projects, particularly those involving Finance or tax operating models
Exposure to data, systems, or automation initiatives within transfer pricing (e.g., ERP alignment, TP tools, data analytics)
Professional qualification (ACA / ACCA / CTA or equivalent) or equivalent experience
