Central Product Sales & Product Management : Inclusive Banking Unit

Inclusive Banking Unit (IBU) looks after the Priority Sector lending (PSL) for the Bank which focusses on ensuring lending to Agri, MSME, Renewable Energy , Start ups, affordable housing amongst others.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support IBU in managing product governance, regulatory compliances, business performance and strategic initiatives across the organization.
  2. Act as a Central Anchor between internal stakeholders to ensure sustainable growth and regulatory alignment.
  3. Monitor and drive key business metrics (revenue, portfolio growth, yields, asset quality etc.)
  4. Build Dashboard, presentations and MIS for leadership review
  5. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning exercises.
  6. Work closely with team leads on business strategy and long-term roadmap
  1. Identify growth opportunities, new segments and product expansion initiatives and formulating products (including upgrading existing products), policies and processes for PSL products.
  1. Work on governance papers, presentations and build/refresh internal policies governing the product, improving and simplification of processes amongst others.
  2. Analytical skills to provide inputs on the underlying asset book including lead generation, performance of the book, improving returns, early warning signals amongst other parameters.
  3. Lead cross functional strategic projects (digitization, process improvement,
  4. Translate strategy into actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
  5. Regulatory compliance adherence (zero major audit observation)
  6. Responsible for undertaking internal and external (including regulatory) reporting activities.
  7. Drive automation initiatives for regulatory reporting, MIS and dashboard

Skill required

  1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  2. Deep understanding of Banking (Priority sector lending) products and regulatory landscape
  3. Excellent stakeholders management
  4. Strong Excel, ppt, presentation and communication skills
  5. High ownership, initiative and self starter with problem solving and solution-oriented approach

Qualifications

  • CA/Post-Graduation in Agri Business Administration or any relevant Masters Program degree,
  • Experience in Priority Sector including in-depth understanding of regulatory framework of PSL guidelines and related regulations, understanding of Lending value chain would be a benefit
  • 10-15 years of experience having worked in BFSI (preferred Banking)
  • Strong understanding of - of markets and a network of relationships with Banks/ NBFC/MFIs would be an added advantage
