The team youll work with:

HSBC Innovation Bankings Strategic Fund Solutions (SFS) team is responsible for managing key aspects of the banks relationships with its Private Equity, Private Credit and Venture Capital clients. SFS optimises the client experience through dedicated relationship management and delivering the breadth of the banks products to this sector, including banking, lending, treasury, and foreign exchange. This role is part of SFS Debt Finance team which focuses on structuring, credit analysis and execution of Fund Finance facilities.

The value youll add:

As a Vice President in SFSs Debt Finance team, you will be assigned as lead on dedicated portfolio of Private Equity and Venture Capital clients, covering a range of Facility structures including Capital Call, NAV, GP/Manc Co and FX. You will assist the senior management team in delivering the teams goals in maintaining a high-quality Debt Finance service for SFSs top tier clients. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and has strong execution and strategic thinking skills.

What you can expect to be doing:

Support the Director and Managing Director in developing and maintaining a portfolio of Private Equity and Venture Capital clients.

Assist junior members of the team, providing guidance, management, and training on all aspects of the Debt Finance role.

Act as lead in managing end-to-end execution and maintenance of Fund Finance facilities.

Collaborate with internal teams to provide exceptional client service, in particular Origination and Portfolio Management.

Act on cross sell leads to improve the client experience and expand product offering to key clients.

Requirements:

Must have very strong Fund Finance experience, with relevant credit, structuring, and legal documentation experience.

Knowledge of FX, and typical structures used in the Fund Finance market, at both the Fund and Manager level.

Must be proficient with Excel and CRM systems.

Ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the VC/PE industry and underlying finance solutions.

Our home office in Finsbury Square, London. We offer hybrid working to our employees, so you can flex between home and the office, with a current requirement to be in the office 4 days per week.
