**Role Summary:** We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our team as a **Syndicated Finance & Corporate Advisory Manager (Team Head)**. In this role, you will lead deal execution, coordinate communication and workflows, and manage both internal and external stakeholders. You will also develop and mentor junior team members. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead deal execution, ensuring transactions are executed smoothly and timely. - Prepare pitch materials and presentations, and collaborate with team members. - Participate in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction-related legal documentation. - Supervise and upskill junior team members. - Provide underwriting and market risk assessment, and monitor primary syndicated finance transactions. - Manage internal approval and credit risk processes. - Stay updated on syndicated loan, DCM, and ECM market trends and developments. - Build and maintain networks within the syndicated loan and capital markets. **Requirements:** - University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines. - Solid experience in syndicated finance, with a proven track record in loans syndication and excellent market contacts in the Greater China market. - Strong leadership and people management skills. - Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua. - Professional qualifications such as ECF, CB, or equivalent would be an advantage. - High level of customer centricity mindset with a dedication to delivering exceptional quality services. - Ability to work effectively in a highly matrix environment and influence multi-stakeholders. Full Job Description
- Reporting to the Head of Syndicated Finance & Corporate Advisory Department as Team Head of the department for increasing number of syndication transaction and volume, planning of business strategies and sales reporting
- Working independently and ensure transactions can be executed smoothly and timely
- Origination and structuring of syndicated finance transactions as senior product specialist, focusing on Greater China market industry
- Leading deal execution while managing communication and workflows across both internal and external stakeholders
- Preparation of pitch materials and presentations and coordinating with team members within the department
- Participating in drafting, review and negotiation of transaction related legal documentation
- Supervising, developing and upskilling junior members in the department
- Supporting in providing underwriting / market risk assessment & monitoring of primary syndicated finance transactions, local and cross-border transaction, including preparing syndication statements
- Managing internal approval and credit risk processes for syndicated transaction
- Keeping track of trends and developments of syndicated loan, DCM and ECM markets
- Maintaining and building up network within the syndicated loan and capital markets
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines
- Solid experience in syndicated finance and or structured finance market
- Good people management skill with leadership capabilities
- Proven track record in loans syndication field with high level market contacts, and familiar with the Greater China market landscape
- Ability to deliver strategic initiatives to stay ahead of the competition
- Ability to work with multi-stakeholders, influence and operate effectively in a highly matrix environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
- High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
- Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
