We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Project Manager, Client Connectivity.

In this role you will:

  • Lead end-to-end onboarding and integration projects across HSBCs digital channels and payments/liquidity solutions, delivering a seamless client experience and accelerating time-to-revenue for strategic clients.
  • Run client technical workshops to define requirements, integration approach, testing strategy and cutover readiness aligned to client automation goals.
  • Own project governance (plan, RAID, dependencies, milestones) and proactively remove or escalate blockers to protect delivery and client outcomes.
  • Act as the primary client point of contact post-sales, managing expectations and ensuring services operate as agreed before project closure.
  • Coordinate delivery across global stakeholders (Sales/Coverage, Client Service, Product, IT, Operations, Legal) and provide clear status reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in onboarding (process simplification, documentation efficiency) to reduce friction and improve NPS.
  • Provide structured feedback to Product on client requirements and market insights; support pilots of new GPS products/services where required.
  • Maintain awareness of payments technology and regulatory change to strengthen solutioning and issue resolution; represent HSBC externally at selected industry forums as needed.
  • Coach and support junior team members and act as an escalation point for complex delivery issues.

To be successful you will need:

  • Proven delivery of multiple concurrent, complex client implementations (ideally multi-country) in payments/treasury connectivity.
  • Strong knowledge of payments and liquidity products and integration methods (API, H2H, SWIFT connectivity, digital channel onboarding).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills, including senior-level governance.
  • Strong prioritisation and execution under pressure, with a track record of improving delivery efficiency and client experience.
  • Project management qualification and/or equivalent experience; familiarity with design thinking is a plus.
