About the Role
Dow Jones is seeking a collaborative, organized, and strategic Senior Project Manager to oversee a variety of high-priority enablement initiatives across Dow Jones. Reporting to the VP, Global Strategic Projects and Integration, you will be accountable for leading projects and programs that are cross-functional, translating broad strategic goals into actionable enterprise-level portfolios, and establishing the governance and frameworks necessary to drive alignment across the organization.
You Will:
Project Management
Oversee, lead and manage a diverse variety of key strategic projects across Dow Jones on behalf of Global Strategic Projects and Integrations team (part of the Global Business Operations team)
Define and manage the delivery/execution of results through independently build and manage project plans, timelines, and resourcing
Understand complex concepts and ideas and strategically translate into a project plan, with governance and a framework
Monitor/track project progress against established goals and; communicate project status, including roadblocks, risks, milestones, and successes with all stakeholders
Manage logistics such as scheduling meetings, updating timelines, communicating deliverables, distributing materials, etc.
Manage large, multi-workstream plans from end-to-end, acting as the primary point of accountability and contact for stakeholders. Focus on enterprise-wide alignment by managing complex interdepartmental dependencies
Proactively respond to and effectively execute on ad-hoc requests, accurately assessing the time and resources required for completion
Identify opportunity areas where process management and new technology can significantly impact efficiency, quality, profitability, and employee satisfaction.
Strategic Planning and Portfolio Leadership
Translate broad strategic goals into actionable enterprise-level project portfolios and long-term roadmap for key initiatives
Drive strategy and assume leadership proactively, particularly in initiatives that currently lack clear ownership.
Demonstrate agility in managing progress across a diverse portfolio, adapt swiftly, and efficiently to new information critical to project success.
You Have:
7+ years of experience within a Project Management role or similar
Preferred Bachelors degree in either Psychology, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Expertise in Project Management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
Mastery of Risk Mitigation & Contingency Planning
Experience with tools like Jira, Asana, Wrike, Monday.com, or Microsoft Project

Non-Union role
Base Pay Range: $125,000 - $135,000
