We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Senior Manager - Liquidity, Finance.


This role will give you the opportunity to navigate impactful change within a global financial institution by managing and optimising liquidity risk and transfer pricing frameworks. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders across Global Businesses and Finance, influence strategic decisions, and contribute to critical policy documentation such as the Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP. In this role, you will:


  • Assess Liquidity Risks: Carry out comprehensive assessments of the liquidity risks faced by the entity and evaluate the effectiveness of liquidity risk controls, buffers, limits, and triggers.
  • Advise and Educate: Provide advice, guidance, education, and support as a Business Partner on all aspects of liquidity management to stakeholders across Global Businesses and Finance.
  • Develop and Enhance Frameworks: Enhance and develop an effective and transparent liquidity Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework to support business and entity liquidity strategy.
  • Optimise Financial Resources: Perform financial resource optimisation activities to improve the risk-adjusted returns of the entity, including analysis and interrogation of liquidity reporting.
  • Governance and Policy Documentation: Present findings and analysis at governance forums (ALCO, sub-ALCO), draft key sections of Liquidity Risk policy documentation (ILAAP), and contribute to ICAAP.



To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:


  • Financial Services Experience: Experience working in Liquidity Finance roles within an Investment Bank or non-ring-Fenced Bank business line function, as well as on large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Knowledge of Global Markets: A solid understanding of the Global Markets business structure, product suite, and strategic drivers is essential.
  • Liquidity Risk Expertise: Experience with financial markets and the liquidity risks posed by financial assets including derivatives, equities, debt, hedges, Prime Business, and other market activities is essential.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Understanding of external statutory and regulatory liquidity reporting requirements is essential.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Proven ability to influence stakeholders to support the delivery of multiple objectives and manage stand-alone tactical tasks.



The base location for this role will be London and with a hybrid working pattern.
