We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

Requirements & analysis

  • Elicit, analyse and document business and functional requirements and user stories.
  • Define acceptance criteria and ensure requirements are clear, complete, consistent and testable.
  • Map current vs target processes (e.g., BPMN/flow diagrams) and identify gaps, risks and dependencies.

Stakeholder management

    • Manage scope and change requests on requirements; communicate and conflict management

Delivery support

    • Partner with Product Owners/Scrum teams to refine backlog, prioritise work, and support sprint planning.
    • Support solution design discussions (APIs, data, integration) and ensure alignment to business intent.
    • Ensure solutions meet relevant governance expectations (e.g., auditability, data handling, access controls).
    • Maintain documentation and traceability

Continuous improvement

    • Use data and feedback to propose process/system improvements and reduce manual work.

Requirements

Experience

    • Solid experience as an IT Business Analyst in banking/financial services (or complex enterprise environments).
    • Wealth/investment product domain knowledge is an advantage.

Core BA skills

    • Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills (user stories, use cases, process flows).
    • Comfortable working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) with backlog refinement and sprint ceremonies.
    • Solid analytical thinking; able to break down complex problems and propose practical options.

Technical & tooling (preferred)

    • Understanding of system integration concepts (APIs, data flows, event-driven patterns).
    • Familiarity with tools such as Jira/Confluence.

Communication

  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills; able to influence without authority.

Mindset

    • Ownership, attention to detail, and a control and quality minded approach suitable for a regulated environment.
    • leadership, communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills with a strong sense of ownership and quality orientation.
