Our team supports the Macquarie Asset Management Chief Financial Officer and broader business across the region, focusing on the operational impact of new products, transactions, business acquisitions and disposals, and oversight of the balance sheet and profit and loss.

This opportunity is a 9-months maximum term contract.

What role will you play?

In this role you will analyse and document key judgements related to asset and liability valuations, impairment testing, and financial reporting accuracy. You will work closely with onshore and offshore teams, as well as external auditors and business stakeholders, to reach agreement on accounting outcomes. You will also contribute to improving financial processes and controls.

What you offer

  • Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in finance in a large, complex organisation or with a Big 4 accounting firm
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in asset management, offshore team collaboration, or applying international financial reporting standards in complex situations is highly regarded.
