We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, test and implement technical solutions based on business requirements and strategic direction.
  • Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and application code.
  • Collaborate with other Development teams, Enterprise Architecture and Support teams to design, develop, test and maintain the various platforms and their integration with other systems
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of product/project support
  • Responsible to support production releases/support on need basis.
  • Peer Review, CI/CD pipeline implementation and Service monitoring.
  • ITSO for the application/s.
  • Should have flexible in working hours, ready to work in shift and On call

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • 10+ years mainframe application development experience (analysis, design, coding, unit testing).
  • Strong hands-on COBOL development.
  • Strong hands-on JCL (batch processing, job control, troubleshooting).
  • Experience with VSAM data sets/files.
  • Experience with DB2 (SQL, data access, performance considerations).
  • Experience with CICS (online transaction processing/support).
  • Proven production support capability: incident troubleshooting, log analysis, timely escalation, shift/on-call readiness.
  • Good-to-have exposure to Agile/CI-CD tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins) and IWS Scheduling.
