We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

• Provide overall direction and strategy in relation to the productivity & effectiveness enhancement of the New business, Underwriting, Policy servicing & Claim operation in a fast changing competitive market, and to the delivery of excellent quality service experience with professionalism and innovative approach
• Create a customer friendly used and optimized business environment in accordance with our life insurance mission and vision, and in a sensitive manner to address the needs and issues of the customers
• Ensure compliance with procedures and standards required by the HSBC Group, and by regulatory, compliance or law and enforce robust internal control
• Proactively identify opportunities leveraging up-to-date technology and method to improve internal processes and procedures in order to enhance the overall customer experience quality
• Define the New business, Underwriting, Policy servicing & Claim transformation project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changes
• Manage transformation projects delivery proactively by defining resource needs, responsibilities and schedules and, balancing scope, schedule, budget and risks, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above majoring in Finance or Insurance
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the financial industry in China, preferably life insurance
• Experience of business management and for strategic project delivery
• Good understanding of insurance business services and operations
• Knowledge of risk and compliance procedures
• Excellent organization and planning skills and strong communication skill to engage various stakeholders
