We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Global Liabilities Manager. The base location for this role is London with Hybrid working.

 

The purpose of this Global Liabilities Management role is to support the effective execution of GPS liabilities strategy and implement the best practices in relation to Liquidity Management and Transfer pricing, as well as provide oversight of the Liquidity and Investment NFI and NII initiatives to senior management, key stakeholders, and partners.

 

The role has a global mandate and supports local/regional execution.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Support Global Head of Liabilities Management to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness of Liability management reviews and processes
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders e.g. Treasury/ Finance/ Regions to drive Deposits Profitability and Optimization
  • Partner with Treasury to assure the optimal hedging strategies, effective Fund Transfer Pricing processes and support entity balance sheet needs and GPS growth strategies.
  • Work with internal stakeholders on any transformation initiatives to support, enable and enhance efficiency of GPS Liabilities management at site/ region.
  • Support and assure the appropriate product, geography and client Reporting and Analytics to drive Deposits profitability and optimization
  • Enhance the monthly balance sheet forecasting and annual planning cycle process in cooperation with Finance and Regions
  • Deliver GPS liquidity inputs, updates and global responses to senior management
  • Become an integral member of Global Payments Solutions organization working to achieve regional and global objectives.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Strong in-depth experience in Treasury, Finance or Balance Sheet related roles
  • Knowledge of market and industry trends, the regulatory environment and its impact on the treasury services industry (e.g. BASEL III, CRD IV).
  • Effective communication skills capable of creating concise and impactful analyses and presentations tailored to senior audience.
  • Outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches and effectively communicate findings.
  • Strong commercial acumen able to advise internal and external stakeholders.
  • Initiative-taker with proven history of meeting and exceeding performance targets.
  • Ability to navigate large organizations and partner with stakeholders to accomplish goals.
  • Experience managing multiple deliverables in a challenging environment.
  • Data Analysis tools: SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI.
