We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced professional to join the Global Network Banking (GNB) Bangalore team as a frontline relationship banker. This team is responsible for delivering the best of HSBC to its discerning inbound multinational client base and seeks to win market share from competition by adding new clients
Principal Responsibilities
- New client acquisition in GNB universe in the city of Bangalore within the parameters of HSBC’s client sourcing and onboarding policies. This shall be the primary responsibility in addition to managing an existing portfolio of GNB clients.
- Managing an existing portfolio of clients and ensuring that we meet all banking requirements of the client and its ecosystem – employees, suppliers and buyers – within the ambit of HSBC’s policies and product capabilities.
- Collaboration with product teams, GRBs and other teams with the bank to maximise HSBC wallet share within the addressable wallet share of the client.
- Ensure that the client portfolio always operates within the parameters of HSBC policies around credit discipline and account conduct
Role requirements / Educational Qualifications / Certification / Experience:
- We are seeking applicants with a post graduate degree / diploma; Cas / MBAs / equivalents preferred
- Prior corporate banking or corporate product experience is mandatory
- Prior credit experience or credit skills are important but not mandatory; candidate should be well versed with basic assessment of financial statements
- Relevant work experience of 5 years preferred, not mandatory for highly motivated and talented candidates
- Technology skills around data management and comfort with presentation tools is an important consideration
- Being a client facing role – top notch verbal / written communication skills and sharp commercial acumen– are of paramount importance
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural set-up and being collaborative within larger teams are important attribute for success in this role
