We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Business Management
In this role you will:
- Support the COO Office in business planning, performance tracking, and operational reviews
- Prepare regular management reports, dashboards, presentations, and meeting materials for senior management
- Track key business metrics, identify trends, and highlight issues, risks, or opportunities for management attention
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, IT, Distribution, and HR to drive business initiatives and follow through on action items
- Assist in project management activities, including timeline tracking, issue escalation, and implementation follow-up
- Support process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives through data analysis and workflow enhancement
- Assist in governance routines, policy updates, internal controls, and compliance-related coordination
- Plan and deliver staff engagement activities, internal events, and team-building programs to promote employee involvement and a positive workplace culture
- Support internal communication initiatives, including employee updates, engagement campaigns, and office-wide activities
- Provide analytical and administrative support for ad hoc strategic assignments from the COO Office.
To be succeesful you will need:
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, Human Resources, or related discipline
- Relevant experience in business management, operations, project coordination, internal communications, or employee engagement, preferably in insurance or financial services
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with reporting tools or project management tools is an advantage
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
