We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Advisory Specialist - Portfolio Analytics.
In this role you will:
- Deliver best-in-class advisory services to clients through the development of the investment platform and enhancement of portfolio analytics using Aladdin
- Handle modelling methodology and data inputs for asset classes and securities into Aladdin that adheres to product suitability, risk frameworks and governance requirements
- Unify the advisory client journey across client segments globally by developing features and tools for efficient portfolio construction
- Support the commercialization of the advisory proposition
- Build up a robust knowledge base on the different tools that can be utilized to institutionalize the advisory framework and provide guidance to stakeholders accordingly
- Collaborate in an agile environment as the subject matter expert with Transformation and IT in specialized work streams to develop new product features
- Interface closely with Blackrock to develop or enhance Aladdin features HSBC is utilizing
- Collaborate with various product teams to incorporate the relevant investment content into Aladdin
- Provide domain expertise to resolve BAU issues from booking centers related to the usage of Aladdin
- Manage the quality of data and the model methodology within the Advisory architecture framework
- Liaise with other local platform teams to enhance the UI/UX for the advisory client journey
- Collaborate with other Portfolio Analytics specialists across other regions to solve both BAU and CTB topics related to portfolio construction and investment content
To be successful you will need:
- Degree in finance/business and with other professional accreditations such as CFA
- At least 10 years of experience in banking or asset management
- Strong understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction, data and analytics
- Has previously been actively involved in building advisory propositions, platforms and portfolio risk management
- Knowledge of Aladdin Wealth will be an advantage
- Quantitatively inclined with a keen eye for details
- Ability to speak Mandarin and/or Cantonese
