The Opportunity

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Melbourne office on a permanent, full-time basis.

Youll join our Projects, Energy & Infrastructure team and be mentored by experienced Legal Assistants to support the smooth running of the practice. This role offers variety, training and will give you the skills to pursue a fulfilling career in the legal sector.

This role is on-site, based in our CBD office Monday Friday.

What youll do

  • Keep things running smoothly by managing competing tasks and deadlines

  • Assist the team with matter management, time recording and monthly billing

  • Pitch in with business development tasks and assist with organising client and team events

  • Manage printing tasks, filing and archiving, as well as general document support

  • Support day to day office operations, with a focus on processing expenses, coordinating meeting room bookings, and handling incoming and outgoing mail

What youll bring

  • Previous experience in an administration role or as a supervisor in retail/hospitality

  • An organised and detail-oriented approach

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • An ability to manage competing priorities whilst remaining calm and professional

  • A friendly and collaborative attitude

  • An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies
