Join our team as a C++ Developer!

Your tasks

Within the cluster Risk Models & Calculations we deliver:

  • Internal and external APIs for the credit rating (e.g. credit application, credit decision) for inhouse frontends, customers and intermediaries etc.
  • Base-services for Commerzbank credit business (e.g. pricing, credit-worthiness)
  • Integration of operative rating processes within frontends and backends
  • Risk applications for the capture and calculation of Operational Risk
  • Tools for reporting and simulations (incl. stress tests)

Your main tasks are:

  • Implementing changes (and creating from scratch) in C++ based risk calculation engines.
  • Maintain and develop project database layer (PL/SQL procedures)
  • Supporting migration of on-prem solutions into Native Cloud solution (Azure)
  • Maintain project test and development infrastructure (C++ and Java based)
  • Develop new ways of computation handling prototype cloud native solutions, introduce changes to current architecture
  • Taking care of software guidelines and other forms of documentation
  • Working on processes improvements using agile methodologies

Alternative tasks (depending on demand):

  • Supporting data engineers team in their activities
  • Supporting of maintenance team in rollouts and bug fixes
  • Documenting specifications, writing concepts, and creating process flows for processes or configurations
  • Writing business test scenarios and cases

Your profile

Which technology & skills are important for us?

  • High knowledge of C++ 17
  • Good knowledge of C++ Boost libraries
  • English B2+ level

Nice to have:

  • Good Knowledge of cloud solutions (preferably Azure)
  • Good knowledge of MSVC toolchain
  • Good knowledge of PL/SQL
  • Basic knowledge of Ansible, Docker
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server OS
  • Basic knowledge of Java
