Main responsibilities:
• Physical Product operations with all modes of transport with significant experience in waterborne or product specifications
• Timely updating of trade capture system to reflect physical activities
• Costs estimation,(inspection, freight, freight differentials, all shipping related costs and demurrage etc.)
• Barge Chartering and Shipping ops (LOI’s Commingling, Discharge), Voyage orders
• Logistics synchronisation at terminals to expedite terminal movements and mitigate any losses
• Invoicing approval, update accounts department, cross check payment status with accounts/bank, issuing invoices as per Lc terms, unpaid follow up + chase;
• Storage management, execution of blending orders, checking and payment of storage related invoices
• Week-end and AOH duty in order to make sure that all vessel/barge/storage and blending ops are executed correctly
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product operations, preferably in a trading environment.
- Strong understanding waterbourne operations.
- Strong understanding of terminal operations.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency and Experience in trade capture systems and Microsoft Excel.
