Position Summary
Guggenheim Investments is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and strategic Senior Events Coordinator to join our Global Events team. This role manages the planning and execution of firm-wide events, including client programs, industry sponsorships, and internal initiatives, ensuring every event aligns with Guggenheim’s business objectives and brand standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple projects through detailed process management, and brings a balance of creativity, strategy, and operational precision. This is a full-time role based in our New York City office.Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and execution of firm-wide events from concept through completion, ensuring seamless coordination across departments and alignment with firm objectives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive event timelines, production schedules, and run-of-show documents covering A/V, staging, catering, and speaker logistics.
- Use Monday.com to track all event logistics, workflows, deliverables, budgets, and reporting, ensuring visibility and accountability across the organization.
- Manage logistics for client, employee, and sponsorship events, including guest lists, invitations, RSVPs, and on-site coordination.
- Produce and host virtual and hybrid events, including technical set-up, speaker rehearsals, attendee management, and live production.
- Build and manage events within Cvent, including communications, registration, surveys, and post-event reporting.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, IT, and Facilities to align deliverables, secure approvals, and maintain process compliance.
- Research and recommend venues, vendors, and creative partners that meet objectives, budgets, and brand standards.
- Oversee vendor contracts, collaborating with Legal and Procurement to review terms and negotiate where appropriate.
- Track and manage event budgets, reconcile expenses, and provide post-event reporting with insights and recommendations.
- Lead planning calls, prepare agendas, and track follow-ups to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
- Identify and drive cost-savings and efficiency opportunities across event operations.
- Partner with the Director of Events on high-profile, client-facing programs and sponsorships, ensuring consistent brand execution and strategic alignment.
- Take a strategic approach to event participation, understanding the objectives of each sponsorship or conference and ensuring clear alignment with Guggenheim’s business goals
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in event management, ideally within financial services or a corporate environment
- Strong understanding of industry conferences, sponsorships, and event marketing strategy
- Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills
- Proficiency with project management software, event planning applications, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing event budgets and cost tracking
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel as needed for event execution
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Willingness and ability to attend events, travel, and be available off-hours as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Monday.com
- Experience and high proficiency with Cvent
- Experience in financial services industry is strongly preferred
- Has worked as a Project Manager, Event Planner, or in the Corporate Event arena for a global organization in current or recent role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients and employees with a professional demeanor
- Ability to effectively manage client experiences and expectations using a high level of tact and diplomacy
- Experience tracking the success of events through data

Salary Range
Annual base salary between
$130,000.00-$140,000.00The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
