The Role

We are seeking a Vice President to join our Investment Banking team, based in Stockholm. The VP will play a central role in originating and executing M&A, private placement, and capital markets transactions for technology companies across the Nordic region. The position requires a highly motivated individual with deep knowledge of the Nordic technology landscape, strong technical foundations, and the ability to manage client relationships with confidence at senior levels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day execution of M&A and private capital transactions across the Nordics, including process management, due diligence coordination, and negotiation support

  • Build and maintain financial models (DCF, LBO, comparable company and precedent transaction analyses) to support deal advisory and business development

  • Take ownership of client-facing materials including Information Memoranda, management presentations, and board-level financial analyses

  • Manage and mentor junior Associates and Analysts, providing structured guidance and review

  • Work collaboratively across GP Bullhound's global offices and product lines, including growth equity and research

Requirements

  • Proven investment banking experience, with a strong track record in M&A or private capital transactions

  • Demonstrable experience in the technology sector, with knowledge of the Nordic market strongly preferred covering software, fintech, gaming, deep tech, or related subsectors

  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication in English; fluency in Swedish or another Nordic language is advantageous

  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-party processes with a high degree of organisation and attention to detail

  • Degree-level education; CFA or equivalent qualification is advantageous
