An international energy trading organisation is seeking a senior-level logistics professional to join its storage projects and initiatives team based in London. This role plays a key part in managing global storage scouting and negotiations for crude oil, refined products, chemicals, and biofuels, supporting trading and commercial desks across multiple regions.

The position involves identifying and evaluating storage terminals worldwide, assessing availability, capacity, cost, and operational suitability. You will engage closely with internal stakeholders to present logistics solutions, lead commercial negotiations, and manage contractual terms through to signature. The role also contributes to strategic logistics planning, including market analysis, economic modelling of storage agreements, and evaluation of new markets and infrastructure opportunities.

Ongoing monitoring of global logistics and storage markets is essential, with responsibility for proposing alternative or strategic solutions in response to geopolitical events or supply chain disruptions. The role includes site visits to terminals, requiring international travel depending on project needs.

Candidates should have a minimum five years’ experience in oil logistics, operations, or commercial roles, with a strong understanding of the oil trading lifecycle. Strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to work autonomously are essential. Additional languages are advantageous.
