What does the job involve?
Responsible for management within one or more areas like sea surveillance, emergency preparedness, rig move operation, supply bases, helicopters, vessels, transportation, and other logistical assets. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and effective utilization of these assets to support operations. This includes coordinating with internal stakeholders, such as operations and maintenance teams, to ensure that logistical assets are available and operational when needed. Contribute to the organization's ability to deliver resources and services in a risk-based, timely and reliable manner.You are utilizing your knowledge independently to solve highly complex tasks with a short to medium-term tactical impact/risk. You address key business challenges that align with Equinor's short and long-term strategy via providing specialist support to your team and others. You independently communicate within the immediate team, across other areas, and towards key stakeholders from partners or external parties. You regularly navigate conflicting agendas and may lead negotiations with senior stakeholders. You resolve challenges, deliver improvements and contribute to shaping best practices. You promote change initiatives, demonstrate flexibility to adopt new highly complex activities/ways of working and advice others. What will my tasks be?
Within this position, your key tasks will be to:
Monitor and report on monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and follow-up actions to enhance operational performance.
Drive initiatives aimed at improving aviation processes and procedures.
Review and update operational procedures periodic to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Stay updated on relevant aviation legislation and ensure compliance across operations.
Follow up with air operator regarding maintenance planning and maintain an action log.
Close follow up with Flight safety department in Norway. Set up and follow up on the annual flight safety verification process to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Identify cost accrual opportunities and implement reduction initiatives to optimize budget efficiency.
Monitor and report on fleet availability to ensure optimal operational readiness.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to enhance air traffic management and operational flow.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with aviation logistics. Bachelor’s degree preferably in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or related areas.
At least 5 years of experience in helicopter maintenance and operations/logistics, OR similar field of study with proven experience in aviation engineering.
Fluent in Portuguese and in English (written and spoken).
Resilient, Communicative, great orator.
Collaborative spirit – focus on finding solutions alongside their team. Loves working as a team.
Proven experience in monitoring and analyzing aviation-related KPIs.
Experience in reviewing and updating operational procedures in compliance with industry standards.
Experience in maintenance planning and aircraft management.
Ability to work under pressure attending multiple stakeholders.
