Full Job Description
A leading hotel business is looking to recruit an ACCA/CIMA part qualified candidate to join its finance function.
Reporting into the financial controller, this is a broad role. Main duties include:
- Owning fixed asset registers for various hotel entities and business partnering with the construction team on new projects, producing group capex spend reports.
- Approval of construction workflow invoices
- Being the owner of the banks across the group whilst performing bank reconciliations
- Being responsible for the Reception staff and Hotel Managers monthly payroll from processing to reporting
- Collaborate with hotel managers to reconcile hotel bookings to payments
- Processing VAT returns bi-monthly and ensuring filed on time
- Preparation of UK non-audited financial statements
- Maintaining monthly balance sheet recs
- Own month end processes including the posting of the depreciation journals, IFRS 16 journal, revenue cash journal
- Reporting on group exceptionals
You will be ACCA/CIMA part qualified, with exeprience in an accounting role. Previous exposure to fixed assets is a must and experience of bank mapping is highly desirable.
