Asset Management Marketing

Led by the firm's first Chief Marketing Officer, the marketing function at Goldman Sachs has unified the discipline, codifying a business-critical function seen as core to the firm's future growth. As such, GS has built a data and technology enabled team of growth marketers, delivering value for the brand and the business. The organization consists of key Centre of Excellence roles in areas such as Brand, Paid Media, and Content Marketing, as well as marketing leads for each of our revenue divisions. Together, this team collaborates around a unified, scalable, and consistent approach to marketing the brand and its offerings. Our mission is to be a demonstrable force multiplier for the businesses we serve.

The Asset Management Marketing Group aims to accelerate revenue generation through modern marketing, powering Goldman Sachs Asset Management to be a world class active asset manager. We help develop a fully connected client experience across online and offline channels while aligning data to personalize our client experience, facilitate cross-selling and measure marketing effectiveness. We strive to combine our investment industry knowledge, traditional marketing skills and contemporary command of data, technology, CX, content, and performance marketing to fuel growth for AM.

We are hiring a Content Marketing Operations Associate to support the strategy, governance, and operational backbone of content marketing in a regulated asset management environment. This role partners closely with senior stakeholders across marketing, compliance, product, and technology to help define how work gets done, develop materials for governance forums, and continuously improve the systems and processes that enable content at scale.

This is a hands-on, high visibility role for someone who can comfortably operate between strategy and execution: analyzing data, supporting governance discussions, and translating decisions into operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy, Governance & Senior Stakeholder Support

  • Support the evolution of enterprise-wide planning, collaboration, and execution practices, including governance standards, decision frameworks, and accountability expectations.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to help shape materials, insights, and recommendations for governance forums and leadership discussions.
  • Prepare executive ready PowerPoint decks, written summaries, and operational updates for cross functional and senior audiences.
  • Help structure conversations, working sessions, and decision materials related to governance, workflow, and operating model changes.

Operational Execution & Enablement

  • Develop and maintain reporting on operational health and key KPIs (e.g., cycle times, SLAs, rework).
  • Ensure processes, workflows, systems, and governance documentation are accurate, current, and clearly articulated.
  • Help maintain audit ready records of content approvals, changes, and supporting documentation.
  • Support onboarding and training of teams on tools, workflows, and governance expectations.
  • Reinforce best practices and standards across teams.

Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze performance data to identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate insights and recommendations to improve speed, efficiency, transparency, and scalability.
  • Support the implementation of enhancements, including process changes, automation, and operational improvements.
  • Partner with managers and stakeholders to help prioritize and execute improvement initiatives.

Cross Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with content, channel, compliance, legal, product, and technology teams.
  • Help align stakeholders on requirements, timelines, and process expectations.
  • Support coordination of meetings, workshops, and working sessions across complex stakeholder groups.

What Success Looks Like

  • Trusted partner to senior stakeholders, supporting strategy, governance, and execution.
  • Systems thinker with a strong focus on clarity, scalability, and risk management.
  • Data driven, with the ability to translate metrics into actionable insights.
  • Comfortable operating in a structured, compliance driven environment.
  • Proactive, improvement oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.

Required Qualifications

  • 35 years of experience in content operations, marketing operations, or workflow/project management.
  • Experience in asset management, wealth management, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of content lifecycle management in a regulated environment.
  • Experience with workflow or project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Smartsheet, Workfront, Jira).
  • Strong written and presentation skills, including experience preparing senior level materials.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfort working with operating model tools and frameworks such as RACI, Agile, or Scrum.
  • Exposure to formal project delivery methodologies.
  • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, or equivalent)
