This role is also eligible for relocation to Mount Isa on a 7/7 days only residential work roster.

The Role
We are looking for a Supervisor - Underground Electrical to join us within the Mining Maintenance Team. In this role you will effectively Supervise and administer the High Voltage Electrical Maintenance, Installation crews and Mobile Drill Rig fleet maintenance and breakdowns including managing contractors to consistently deliver productive and efficient value-added outcomes to the company, all the while maintaining a safe and equal opportunity workplace. We are looking for an experienced individual for this position, ideally applicants will have over 5 years Electrical Assets experience and demonstrated knowledge of risk management, safety systems and legislative requirements for electrical installations coupled with experience supervising and developing large work teams. Qualifications would include Licenced Electrician and current S1, S2, S3.  

Your key responsibilities include: 

• Safety leadership
• Developing a positive team culture in line with Glencore values including mentoring and coaching to build employee role competency
• Development and application of the weekly work schedule
• Providing visible leadership and ensuring compliance to Mount Isa Mines policies
• Responsible for the optimisation of assigned resources and continuous improvement to minimise cost and waste
• Responsible for budget development and adherence to budget
• Team administration  

The successful applicants will have:

• Be a trade Qualified Electrician
• Licenced electrician
• S123
• 5 Years Underground Mining Experience
• Leadership Skills
