About the Role

The Procurement Lead Coroccohuayco is responsible for leading and coordinating all procurement activities for the Coroccohuayco Project, ensuring alignment with the project execution strategy, corporate standards, and regional integration objectives.

The role oversees critical purchasing, outsourced procurement management, logistics coordination, and material quality, while also contributing to operational readiness and the development of procurement synergies at a regional level.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields
  • Postgraduate studies or specialization in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Contracts (desirable)
  • +10 years of experience in Procurement and Contracts
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project environments
  • At least 5 years in senior or leadership roles
  • Advanced English and Spanish

Main Purpose of the Role

To lead procurement activities for the Coroccohuayco Project, including critical purchasing, third-party oversight, logistics coordination, and regional integration, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with both project and company objectives.

Operating Context

This role supports the execution strategy of the Coroccohuayco Project within a complex environment involving EPCM, EP, CM contractors, suppliers, and multiple internal stakeholders.

It requires close coordination with Procurement, Contracts, Planning, Cost Control, and Operations teams to ensure that supply chain activities are aligned with project timelines and operational readiness. Additionally, the role contributes to the integration and standardization of procurement practices across the regional project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure procurement efficiency, cost control, and operational readiness, while strengthening integration and process consistency across the regional project portfolio
  • Develop and manage the Project Procurement Plan
  • Execute critical purchases ensuring cost, quality, and schedule compliance
  • Oversee outsourced procurement activities
  • Ensure compliance with procurement and contract procedures
  • Provide guidance and leadership to EPCM/PCM teams on commercial and compliance matters
  • Supervise the quality of materials and equipment
  • Coordinate the project logistics strategy
  • Support operational readiness alongside site teams
  • Drive procurement synergies at a regional level

  • Proven experience in mining projects (greenfield and brownfield) across the full project lifecycle
