Due to a recent surge in recycling projects, we are seeking a Process, Chemical, or Metallurgical Engineer to join our Pyrometallurgy team in Brisbane on a full-time basis with the opportunity for overseas travel. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the ongoing innovation and implementation of our pyrometallurgical technologies. This position directly reports to the Senior Metallurgist   Pyrometallurgy. This is a rare opportunity to join a small team introducing industry-changing technology. Be part of our cutting-edge work to develop modern net-zero processes for critical metals, recycling, and the circular economy.


You will be responsible for:

  • Technology research and development
  • Supervision of test work programs
  • Process and flowsheet design
  • Plant design
  • Project delivery
  • Marketing
  • Site support
  • Commissioning
  • Client training

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or similar, with some exposure to pyrometallurgy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate technical and commercial issues with clients
  • Experience in both operations and pyrometallurgy flowsheet design viewed favourably
  • The ability to travel overseas as required
