Engineer (Resources and Reserves)

In this role you will be responsible for:
- Maintain and update Mineral Resource and Ore Reserves.
- Support open-cast mine planning with accurate geological and reserve inputs.
- Provide strategic resource and reserve inputs to support open-cast life of mine planning.
- Ensure alignment between geology, mine planning and production team to optimise resource extraction.
- Monitor resource models against mining performance.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
About you:
- Honours Geology
- Registered with SACNASP as registered scientist
- Minimum 10 years experience in open-cast mining operations
- Good communication skills
- Excellent analytical, reporting and team leadership and people management skills
- Must have own transport and a valid drivers license
- Medically fit to perform work at a mine
- Computer literacy
