QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12
- Full N2 certificate with relevant trade theory
- Electrical trade certificate
- Completed POE for Section 26D trade certificate
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years relevant experience in heavy industry which includes 1 year in a senior position
- Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality awareness
- Good Interpersonal and Communication skills
- SAP and Coupa knowledge will be advantageous
- Able to work under pressure, adaptable, attention to detail
JOB OBJECTIVES
In this role you will be reporting to the Superintendent (Electrical) for the following:
- Coordination of the Electrical team, which includes controlling of operational activities, personnel, budgets and HSEQ systems compliance
- Ensuring implementation of management decisions, legal requirements, and company standards / procedures
- Create SAP Notifications, sign off works orders on SAP
- Complete Critical Spares list availability, attend to Breakdowns
- Preventative Maintenance, Complete Tool Check List
- Planned maintenance system inspection
- Plant maintenance shutdown planning and execution
- Time and Attendance check and sign off
- The employee will always adhere to the Company rules, standing instructions, policies and procedures.
- Maintain plant availability and operational stability in accordance with required standards
- Overtime will be worked when so required
- Acting in higher position when so required
- Standby duties to be performed
