Job description
FTI Consulting seeks an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing for Germany and Switzerland. The role involves comprehensive payroll management, working with third-party vendors, ensuring accurate and timely processing, and serving as a subject matter expert in DACH region payroll operations.
The primary responsibilities include comprehensive payroll processing for the DACH region, involving reviewing and checking all aspects of payroll such as starters, leavers, variable data processing, salary adjustments, and benefits. The specialist will work closely with third-party payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely processing of payrolls, maintain precise files, and reconcile payrolls before approval.
Required experience includes a minimum of 4 years of EMEA payroll experience, extensive knowledge of German and Swiss payroll legislation, proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate must be methodical, organized, with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills in German and English, and the capability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
