The Private Wealth team in Hong Kong covers Greater China and plays a critical role in expanding the firm’s reach across private wealth channels. The team collaborates closely to deliver investment solutions and deepen relationships with private banks, family offices, and other platforms.
How You Will Add Value
Core Responsibilities
You will cultivate and deepen relationships with existing distributors.
You will identify potential distribution partners to increase market share.
You will prioritise efforts for medium and long-term business growth.
You will deliver AUM and sales targets across private wealth channels.
You will monitor client structure, objectives, benchmarks, and holdings.
You will provide market intelligence to guide strategy and product efforts.
You will coordinate with teams to resolve client inquiries accurately.
You will execute sales ideas and deliver tailored presentations.
You will run sales campaigns and explore new markets and channels.
You will work with regional team members to grow distribution footprint.
You will handle RFPs, annual due diligence, and queries.
You will partner with Marketing to promote branding and materials.
You will monitor asset classes and competitors to position products.
What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role
Experience, Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
8–12 years of sales/relevant experience in asset/private wealth management.
Proven track record in business development.
Familiarity with mutual funds and alternatives (private equity, real estate, credit).
SFC License (Type 1) is required.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of financial services and fund strategies.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Chinese word processing skills.
Solid understanding of market data tools (Bloomberg, Morningstar).
Soft Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication.
High personal and professional integrity.
Strong relationship management and strategic selling skills.
Ability to deliver compelling presentations.
Able to multitask in fast-paced environments.
Fluent in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is a plus.
