About the Department


Global Shareholder Services (GSS), part of Global Operations, delivers operational excellence across regions and cultures. The team partners with business leaders and external stakeholders to shape long-term strategy, ensuring consistent customer experience and protecting shareholder interests. As VP Global Shareholder Services (TA Oversight), you lead the EMEA (excluding UK/Ireland) TA Oversight team, drive strategic change, support employee development, and ensure regulatory alignment. Franklin’s investment in future-proofing TA models includes building strategy for tokenised funds.

How You Add Value


Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the EMEA TA division to deliver excellent customer service

  • Make decisions that protect shareholders, funds, and the enterprise

  • Contribute to the Luxembourg Management Company roadmap

  • Represent GSS internally and externally

  • Build relationships to influence decisions and drive change

  • Act as TA Conducting Officer within Lux Manco

  • Promote accountability and adherence to objectives

  • Align priorities with organisational goals

  • Balance global and local needs

  • Ensure operations follow risk and control principles

  • Manage outsourced relationships to deliver value

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans

  • Lead through complex change

  • Monitor industry and regulatory trends

  • Sponsor strategic initiatives

  • Guide cross-functional leadership

  • Define future roles and skillsets

  • Assess workforce trends

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role


Experience, Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Deep knowledge of offshore fund distribution and Luxembourg TA

  • Experience with outsourced TA providers

  • Recognised technical/business expert

  • 5–10 years in staff and project management

  • Experience working cross-functionally without direct authority
