About your team

As part of the Transfer Agency team, you will be responsible for the effective oversight of our Third-Party Administrators (TPA) who act as Transfer Agent for our funds. This includes overseeing all Transfer Agency related tasks outsourced to the TPA and interacting with key Fidelity stakeholders, such as Product Delivery, Distribution, Digital Assets and Client Servicing Teams.

As a team, our objective is to deliver excellent client service to Fidelity clients and adhere to regulatory requirements at all times. This specific role will support the firms digital assets and tokenisation initiatives for Fidelity International. As Fidelity continues to expand its capabilities in this rapidly evolving space, you will play an important role in ensuring that our TPAs adhere to regulations, SLAs and KPIs.

About your role

Achieving this is dependent on the strength of our oversight model which is refined on an ongoing basis. We are looking for an individual who can innovate, constructively challenge data, think outside the box with a strong focus on relationship building, analytical thinking and problem solving. You will be working with and supported by the existing team who will also help you further develop your skills and experience in oversight and Fidelitys risk and control frameworks. This is a hands-on role suited to a highly motivated individual with a strong interest in digital assets.

The successful candidate will be expected to actively participate in the day-to-day operations of the team and its workload, ensuring all deadlines are met in an accurate and timely manner.

About you

  • Ensure tasks are completed in line with industry standards, Fidelity policies and procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide independent oversight of and challenge activities performed by the TPAs.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of key regulatory updates and challenge TPAs to ensure they are operationally ready to deliver these changes.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the digital assets environment, understand the terminology, the different processes involved with this asset type and be comfortable challenging our stakeholders where required.
  • Establish a partnership relationship with our TPAs to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Effectively communicate and report operational risks to business partners and management.
  • Work with team to implement change initiatives such as fund launches, client migrations, system upgrades, digital assets specific initiatives such as onboarding new tokenisation platforms.

  • Understand the importance of managing risk, ensure procedures are updated and followed thus minimising operational risk across the team.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Transfer Agency role ideally with a deep understanding of digital assets
  • Self-starter with the ability to take ownership of deliverables, and proactively support the teams objectives
  • Team-oriented individual, with a collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Proven analytical skills ability to extract, analyse and assimilate information
  • Challenge mindset - willingness to question processes with a view to improving service delivery
