Job description
EY is seeking an experienced economist or business economist to join their Tax Technology team in Munich. The role involves supporting multinational clients in cross-border and complex tax technology challenges, focusing on digitalizing tax departments and developing innovative IT solutions for tax calculations and corporate profitability.
As part of the Platform Solutions and Intelligence team, you will support clients in digitalizing tax departments across the EMEIA region, developing and implementing innovative IT solutions for transfer pricing, corporate profitability, global taxes, and ESG reporting. Key responsibilities include modeling financial, tax, and IT processes, analyzing and structuring corporate transactions, and collaborating with team members across Europe and India.
The ideal candidate will have successfully completed a degree in economics or business administration, demonstrating high initiative, quick comprehension of complex scenarios, and a strong technological affinity. Candidates should be curious, eager to learn, passionate about driving digitalization, and fluent in both English and German. A strong academic background (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) with a keen interest in technology is essential.
