Job description
EY is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to support their Private Tax Services team, focusing on providing tax planning and compliance for privately held companies. The role requires managing complex tax matters, working directly with clients, and developing a deep understanding of flow-through entities and partnership taxation.
As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns for U.S. partnerships, managing foreign reporting requirements, and providing comprehensive tax advisory services. Your primary responsibilities include handling tax compliance for complex business structures, conducting tax research, and drafting detailed tax memoranda.
The ideal candidate will have a CPA certification, at least 5 years of professional tax experience, and proficiency with tax software like RIA, CCH IntelliConnect, and OneSource. Strong technical skills in gift, estate, and trust tax planning are crucial, along with excellent communication abilities to explain complex tax issues to non-tax professionals.
EY offers a competitive compensation package with salary ranges between $105,400 to $193,200, comprehensive benefits including medical and dental coverage, flexible vacation policy, and opportunities for continuous learning and professional development. The organization emphasizes a diverse, inclusive culture and provides tools for transformative leadership and personal growth.
