Job description
EY is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager for their Private Corporate Services team in Scotland. The role involves managing complex tax consulting projects, building client relationships, and supporting business growth in the private sector with a focus on delivering high-quality tax advisory services.
As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing technically complex consulting projects for clients, ensuring technical excellence and a practical business-driven approach. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality tax advisory services, managing project delivery, and maintaining strong client relationships across entrepreneurial, owner-managed, family-owned, and private equity-backed businesses.
The ideal candidate will have strong tax technical skills, specifically in corporate tax, with qualifications such as ICAS, ACA, CTA, or equivalent. Experience in coaching and developing junior staff, demonstrating business development skills, and the ability to manage projects effectively are essential. Candidates should have excellent client relationship management skills, strategic commercial awareness, and the capability to communicate effectively in various professional settings.
