Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP is seeking an Associate with 3-6 years of State and Local Tax experience to join our Firm in Atlanta, DC, New York, Sacramento, San Francisco or Silicon Valley office locations. We are looking to add a team member with ambition and an individual who enjoys a collaborative work environment.
The Associate will join a practice that works as a national team with a broad range of Fortune 100 clients. We are looking for exceptional attorneys, and we will provide them with the tools and experiences needed to build successful careers.
Key experience, skills, and responsibilities:
3-6 years of law firm or accounting firm experience.
Skills and experience related to state and local tax planning, compliance, legislation and policy, and litigation and controversy matters.
Working knowledge of income, franchise, sales and use, excise, and property taxes.
Strong academic records and impressive writing and communication abilities.
A client-service mindset and the ability to assume immediate responsibility for matters in an active practice.
Confidence, self-motivation, and a strong interest in joining our team.

The Associate position requires in-office presence three days per week. The salary is commensurate with years of relevant experience & geographic location. The salary range for this Associate position is $260,000-$390,000.
