The overall goal of the Compliance function is that Euronext Securities has a mature and effective second line of defence with a compliance departments that bring value to the business. This can be done by helping the business comply with relevant standards, ensuring the commercial angle in connection with compliance and complying with relevant legislation. This includes monitoring and anchoring relevant standards in the business, and monitoring that the legal and regulatory framework and processes are adequately implemented in the business.

Involved in the development of the compliance function.

Main purpose solve tasks for Compliance.

Main tasks:

  • Contribute to monitoring compliance with relevant applicable legislation, regulations and directives (such as CSDR)

  • Compliance risk analysis e.g. identification of compliance risks through risk analyses, other compliance analyses and performance of controls

  • Contribute to reporting to stakeholders and relevant authorities

  • Presentations and training material

  • Preparation, updating and control of policies, process descriptions and business procedures

  • Administration and planning ad hoc compliance tasks.

Requirements:

  • Short or long higher education Master/PhD

  • Graduated in one of Economics, Business Administration, Strategy and Control, Finance and Strategic Management, Strategy, Organisation and Leadership or Law

  • Good communication skills in writing and speaking (English and Italian)

  • Office suite

  • Analytical

  • Detail-oriented

  • Theoretical or practical knowledge of compliance and risk methods, tools and work.

Personal skills

  • Ambitious about quality

  • Responsible

  • Structured and good at planning your own time

  • Analytical sense

  • Independent, proactive and enterprising

  • Good interpersonal skills and relationship-building across the organisation
