Key Responsibilities

The LOD2 Credit Risk Team, part of the LOD2 Risk Management, oversees credit-risk controls executed by the Clearing House and maintains a comprehensive and continuously updated view of the credit quality of its counterparties.

The Applicant will assist the LOD2 Credit Risk Team with the following activities:

  • Active participation to the admissions process of new Participants to the Clearing System;
  • Execution of credit-risk-related controls (e.g. financial soundness of the counterparty, monitoring of the creditworthiness, assignment and review of the internal rating) on CCP Participants, in the admission and ongoing stages of the clearing relationship;
  • Monitoring the maintenance of membership requirements according to timelines established by Euronext Clearings Rules and Regulations;
  • Handling of Due Diligences conducted on Clearing Members;
  • Interaction in a multi-cultural fast-paced environment in line with European exposure of the Euronext Group that covers different European Markets (Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, Lisbon, Milan, Paris, Oslo).

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has:

  • Master degree in Economics, Finance,  Statistics, Mathematics;
  • Very Good knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python, Matlab, VB, Java, C++,) and Microsoft Office Package;
  • Knowledge of Data Analytics and Data Management;
  • Problem-solving attitude, flexibility to cover shifts and out-of-the-box thinking;
  • Team working attitude;
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English.
