Job Title: Indirect Category Procurement Lead

Role Summary

The Indirect Category Procurement Lead will own and drive end to end category management for indirect spend areas, with a strong focus on category strategy, cost transparency, and value realization. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to align procurement strategies with demand, budgets, and enterprise objectives while delivering measurable savings and performance improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead indirect category management initiatives with a strong understanding of category strategies, market dynamics, and supplier landscapes.
  • Develop and apply Should Cost models to increase cost transparency, strengthen fact based negotiations, and improve commercial outcomes.
  • Identify, quantify, and deliver cost savings and value improvement initiatives across indirect spend categories.
  • Support sourcing activities, including supplier evaluation, RFx execution, negotiations, and contract strategy development.
  • Drive supplier performance management through defined KPIs, governance routines, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to align procurement strategies with budget targets, demand forecasts, and business priorities.
  • Enable adoption of best practices in category planning, savings tracking, and value reporting.

 

Success Measures

  • Realized cost savings and measurable value improvements
