Your area of work 
The Risk Exposure Management Section operates and develops the risk management systems for all markets cleared by Eurex Clearing. We monitor and manage the markets and the members risk situation in real time. We are also the first point of contact for questions about risk management from Eurex Clearings clients. Our hands-on know how enables us to make an impact on the implementation of several strategic projects of Deutsche Brse, especially the development of the OTC clearing offering.The product universe that is covered by the Fixed Income Risk team includes OTC Interest Rate Swaps, OTC NDF products, listed Fixed Income derivatives as well as Bonds, Repo and GC Pooling.  

 

Your responsibilities

  • You operate the risk management and clearing systems of Eurex Clearing for OTC Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD)
  • You manage Eurex Clearings risk positions on a day-to-day basis  
  • You provide support to members as first point of contact for all kinds of questions around Clearing and Risk of OTC IRD  
  • You support the development and implementation of the Eurex OTC Clear Service offering and participate in strategic projects of Deutsche Brse Group  
  • You communicate risk matters to internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies  
  • You contribute to the development of automation and AI implementation to the risk management systems of Eurex Clearing

  • You act as a subject-matter expert, translating complex risk topics into clear, actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders  
  • You contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation, and training within the team and across functions  

 

Your profile

  • M.Sc. in economics, finance, mathematics, physics, financial engineering, computer science or comparable field  
  • Solid knowledge of financial risk management in derivatives, ideally Fixed Income  
  • Strong consulting and communication capabilities, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly  
  • High knowledge orientation, staying up to date with market, regulatory, and product developments  
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, combined with objectivity and structured problem solving  
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and understand broader business and market contexts  
  • Experience and willingness to share knowledge and guide others  
  • High level of adaptability, reliability, and accountability  
  • Proficiency in English; German is an asset
