Your area of work:
As an Intern in Non-Financial Risk Management, you will have an excellent opportunity to explore the risk management function of a banking institution and to gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company and dynamic team. You will be part of a multicultural team and be actively taking part in our processes, while we are offering you diverse, interesting and above all challenging tasks.
Your responsibilities:
- You will gain insights through participating in the non-financial risk identification, measurement, controlling and reporting process
- You will support the identification of operational risks and business risks together with the business units and participate in the yearly review of operational and business risk scenarios
- You will generate analyses and documents to support analytics for risk management
- You will support in the improvement of current processes
- You will contribute to investigation of new developments on the market for risk management related topics
- You will participate in the maintenance of risk management tools and databases
Your profile:
- Enrolled in bachelors degree in business administration, Risk Management, or equivalent, AND can provide an internship agreement, OR have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or similar for no more than 6 months
- You are matriculated throughout the duration of your internship at a state-recognized university as a regular student
- You have a strong interest in the financial sector
- You have the ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
- You are competent handling MS-Office applications (in particular MS Access and MS Excel)
- You are proficient in written and spoken English, German is considered a plus
