Your area of work:

Clearstream's investment funds services enable banks and other investment fund distributors to move towards standardization, automation, and straight-through processing of investment fund orders. The Investment Funds Vestima Service Design and Implementation unit is a team dedicated to support client onboarding and process design around fund execution having direct collaboration with Sales-, Product- and Relationship Management Teams. In addition, and amongst other tasks the team manages and supports in- and external testing partnering with stakeholders and driving automation of processes.


Your responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate end-to-end client onboarding initiatives, including advanced scoping exercises, migration strategy definition, dependency mapping, and multi-stakeholder alignment across heterogeneous operational environments
  • Design and continuously refine target-state process architectures related to fund order execution, routing, and settlement, ensuring full alignment with Vestima and Central Facility for Funds (CFF) infrastructures
  • Contribute to product enhancement cycles by translating complex client requirements and operational constraints into structured, scalable inputs for platform development and optimization
  • Act as a primary interface for high-sensitivity client interactions, managing expectations, resolving escalations, and ensuring alignment between technical deliverables and operational commitments
  • Orchestrate Transfer Agent implementations, including the end-to-end migration lifecycle to Vestima (order routing platform) and CFF (settlement infrastructure), balancing both operational and technical dimensions
  • Drive the implementation and validation of SWIFT ISO 20022 messaging standards, including configuration oversight, exception handling logic, and interoperability across multiple counterparties
  • Coordinate and execute comprehensive testing frameworks, including:
  • End-to-end client validation scenarios across interconnected systems
  • Internal regression and enhancement testing linked to product evolution
  • Data integrity checks and reconciliation across processing layers
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency, reliability, and resilience of processes across the full investment funds transaction chain
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies and contribute to automation and optimization initiatives, leveraging process analysis and operational 

Your profile:

  • University degree (BAC +3 or +5) in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience within the investment funds or post-trade ecosystem, ideally with exposure to fund distribution, order routing, or transfer agency environments
  • Working knowledge of SWIFT standards, particularly ISO 20022
  • Experience of the end-to-end investment fund lifecycle, including execution flows, order management, settlement mechanics, and reconciliation processes
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within complex, multi-stakeholder financial environments, balancing regulatory, technical, and client-driven constraints
  • High level of client orientation, with proven experience managing expectations in demanding, deadline-driven contexts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex operational or technical topics in a structured and concise manner
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail, combined with curiosity and the ability to deconstruct and improve complex processes
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple parallel workstreams under pressure without compromising quality
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team, demonstrating ownership and accountability in ambiguous or evolving situations
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly in handling structured data, reporting, and documentation
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory
