Role Description

Hybrid Cloud is looking for a Technology Operations Lead for Midrange Technology Operations and Security. You will strategically lead and align efforts with Information Security on the Midrange Platform, business objectives and regulatory requirements, overseeing policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and manage enterprise risk. This role involves managing day to day operational efforts for the team including participating in audits, collaborating with stakeholders and suppliers across the organization.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead operations environment to ensure risks are identified, assessed, prioritized, communicated, and managed, including recommendations for risk mitigation, and identifying root cause/key themes
  • Participate in project meetings to identify issues and risks and potential impact of new technologies and projects as well as facilitate management with adequate reporting and governance
  • Manage Audit, Regulatory and Third-Part audits/risk assessments; lead development of formal responses to Audit and Regulatory inquiries or assessments this may be comprised of documentation gathering, drafting of documents, and researching past activity and reports
  • Lead global and complex projects with cross-functional teams as well as proactively identify and report Information Security and Technology compliance issues
  • Vendor Risk Management (VRM) liaise and co-ordinate efforts with VRM Support Team and internal stakeholders to ensure VRM operational requirements related to key suppliers (e.g. Kyndryl, IBM, Oracle, etc.) including risk reviews, contract management, and ongoing monitoring to manage risks associated with third-party suppliers are executed accordingly and within the banks expectation

Your skills and experience

  • Experience in Midrange Service Delivery and Technical Operations Management, with at least 10 years in a lead role for large-scale environment
  • Indepth knowledge of programme management principles, methodologies, and tools with the ability to tailor approaches to complex needs e.g. ITIL, Agile
  • Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner across business and technology
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated experience designing and executing enterprise-wide delivery, communication and execution
  • Experience with VRM processes and Contract processes an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
