Role Description

  • The Employee Compliance Technology Programme is responsible for re-platforming legacy Compliance applications onto modern, scalable, cloud-ready technology. The new GECCo platform (Global Employee Compliance Collective) will centralise all employee compliance tasks in Deutsche Bank, moving employees and Compliance to a self-service model, eliminating manual intervention, and improving data quality by ensuring it is consumed strategically from authoritative sources.
  • System team dev is responsible for quality assurance of the platform, and they will ensure the system works end-to-end and ensure smooth release cadence.

Your key responsibilities

  • Designing and conducting quality assurance practices to support business development activities.
  • Driving the adoption of recognised best practice and policy and contributes to the ongoing improvement of methodologies and assets for the business.
  • Recording of defects and the collation of metrics and KPI information for reporting purposes.
  • Collaborates with product line stakeholders to understand and develop strategies, frameworks relating to the emerging demands.
  • Develop or support test automation strategy for large complex projects in Agile methodology.
  • Testing disciplines include Performance Testing, Test Automation, Test Processes, Testing Products

Your skills and experience

  • Good scripting knowledge in Java/Python
  • Hands on experience with using tools like Postman, JMeter
  • Hands on experience with Cucumber, TypeScript for writing automated tests
  • Knowledge of basics in SQL.
  • Experienced in CI tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity and integration with Cucumber
  • Possesses good analytical and problem-solving skills to perform root cause analysis using server side logs.
  • Able to work on various System Team tasks such as Deployments, Test Data Preparation, Testing, Initial failure analysis, Defect Triage, etc.
  • Should have sound knowledge in version control systems - Git(preferably)
  • Experience and understanding in System Integration Testing, Functional testing phases like System Testing, Sanity Testing, Regression Testing.
  • Should have worked on project deliveries using Agile & Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good understanding of overall SDLC
  • Working experience with business users in Agile methodology using JIRA.
