Role Description

Your key responsibilities

  • Map, design, and continuously improve end-to-end operational process flows across key functions
  • Identify automation opportunities leveraging tools such as Power Automate, RPA, and AI-driven solutions; build business cases and prioritize initiatives
  • Partner with Operations teams to understand current pain points and translate them into scalable automation solutions
  • Drive implementation of automation use cases ensuring alignment with risk, control, and compliance standards
  • Coordinate with Technology, COO, and Transformation teams to deliver automation projects within agreed timelines
  • Establish standard process documentation and governance for process design and automation initiatives
  • Track and report automation benefits (FTE savings, productivity gains, error reduction) to senior management
  • Ensure appropriate controls are embedded in automated processes and support audit/regulatory reviews where required
  • Support change management and adoption across teams, including training and communication for new process/automation deployments
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives around digital transformation, straight-through processing (STP), and workflow optimization
  • Prepare management updates, dashboards, and executive materials for leadership forums

Your skills and experience

  • Minimum 68 years of experience in Operations, Process Excellence, or Automation within a financial institution
  • Strong experience in process mapping (e.g., BPMN, Visio) and workflow design
  • Good understanding of Operations processes (e.g., Payments, KYC, Client Onboarding, Securities) preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate complex processes into simplified solutions
  • Experience in managing cross-functional stakeholders and driving change initiatives
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present to senior management
  • Bachelors / Masters Degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Automation tools is a plus
